I hope that you had a wonderful holiday season with those who mean the most to you.
This being my first blog entry for IBWOE, so please bear with me as I get adjusted.
It is my hope to bring you thought provoking topics each week that we can discuss with one another.

This is a poem that I wrote some years ago and thought that it would be fitting to start off the new year.

Don't Give Up

I know it's not easy
The way can get hard
Makes you want to give up and give in
To the obstacles
That seem to appear at every turn
Though it may not seem so at the moment
It's just another lesson to learn

Never lose sight, lose hope of your dream
Keep striving
Keep the faith
Keep that positive attitude
You know how important it is
How much it means
Don't let anyone or anything
Stand in your way
When you get knocked down
or
A window of opportunity slips away
Just keep the FAITH
Get down on your knees and PRAY
PRAY that HE will sustain you,
Give you the STRENGTH to carry on
HE knows your HEART
HE knows your DREAM
Although sometimes
To you it seems
That it will never
Come full circle, to full fruition

Remember that PATIENCE is the key
That will open the door to your SUCCESS
It may not be when you want
Or exacty how you want
Just know
It will come
When you least expect it
Which is why
You should never, ever give up
Because your dreams have no expiration date
